Mark 13:32-37, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link, and when a preacher starts setting dates for Christ's return, he just became a bona fide FALSE PROPHET. Steven Anderson has set TWO dates concerning the Rapture:
Clearly, the guy is confused and doesn't have his act together. Kindly said, Pastor Anderson is unlearned and ignorant of Bible prophecy, which is what happens when you quit Bible college before graduating (he quit Hyles-Anderson College in 2006), not completing his training (kind of like Luke Skywalker bailing out on Master Yoda during training in the movie, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back). The ONLY doctrinal position that fits the puzzle of Bible prophecy is a PRETRIBULATION RAPTURE.
- He teaches that the Rapture will occur 1,335 days into Daniel's 70th week ('Revelation, Part 10' - Time: 31:00 minutes into video).
- He teaches that the Rapture will happen 75 days after the Abomination of Desolation ('Revelation, Part 10' - Time: 35:25 minutes into video; also, see his prophecy chart).
None of that makes biblical sense. Jesus said that NO MAN knows the time of His return, but Anderson says they WILL KNOW during the Tribulation period. Steven just makes up his own doctrine and elevates his word above God's inspired Word. And remember, he teaches that the Rapture and the Second Coming are the SAME event. So, he is clearly telling the world WHEN Jesus is coming back, which violates the plain teachings of God's Word.
