The preceding passage practically gives the address of America! I've never seen things so bad as they are now in the United States. What we are beholding today is anything but normal. I just heard in the news today that Target store chain is closing eight major stores in cities like Seattle, San Francisco and New York, due to violent store riots and massive theft of their merchandise. Like many companies today, Target is worried about employee safety and lawsuits for failing to protect their employees. I really hate lawyers, who are predators who prey upon people to make money. Please don't just read through that list of sins and fail to grasp what it means. Think about just the word “unholy.” People today are unholy! That is frightening. “False accusers.” Oh my! “Fierce.” Again, that is scary! Liars, trucebreakers, unthankful, disobedient to parents, blasphemers, proud, covetous, boasters, et cetera. This describes Americans today! This woeful list of sins doesn't just describe the punks who violently steal from retail stores, it sadly describes many of the police officers today who bully and abuse the public. Sadly, it also describes many pastors today, who are full of sinful pride, who lie about how to get to Heaven, and they are greedy and fierce, unreasonable and selfish, lovers of their own selves!
As God's children we must be ON GUARD like never before. None of us are perfect. Time after time I have ended up in unpleasant altercations with wicked people in public, regretting that I left my house that day. I just love staying home as much as possible. Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Dear friend, I don't won't bad things to happen to you. So, be careful where you go, what you say, how you respond to situations, and always keep in mind that we are living in unprecedented times of wickedness in 2023. Many of the American people have gone insane!
I rarely go driving without seeing angry drivers laying on the horn. I always see some driving way over the speed limit. I have been run off the road by angry drivers quite a few times by angry drivers. You just don't know what is going on in someone's mind. Oh, how people need the dear Savior. We should all be soulwinners! We must be on guard everywhere we go at all times, because the Bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of Satan. I have visited several Baptist churches in Pensacola and I'm not impressed with any of them. Pastors sadly all have their own agenda, but I haven't felt wanted in any of their churches. There's something wrong when you attend a church for over 2 years and the pastor has never once initiated a conversation with you. I'm not kidding. That is really bad!
I read today that in 2022 there were 49,499 suicides in the United States. In 2021 there were 48,183 suicides in our country. That is so sad. Suicides are much higher among minority groups; such as, blacks, Asians and Hispanics. Women commit suicide more than men. Younger people commit suicide more than older people. Oh, how people need the dead Savior! My heart has been heavy lately, seeing all this sin, wickedness, war and death in our world.
To be honest, I am glad to be 56 years old, rather than 26, because it means that I am nearing the end of my time here on planet earth. 2nd Corinthians 5:8, “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” I don't want to be here anymore, but I am not suicidal. The Apostle Paul felt the same way that I do, who said in Philippians 1:21, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” As long as I am alive on earth, I will continue to preach the Gospel of free grace, and earnestly contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints. But I would just as happy to go to Heaven, to be home with Jesus my blessed God, Lord and precious Savior.
It grieves my soul to see my country ripping itself apart. I grieves my soul to meet people who are angry, frustrated and stressed out over everything from the faltering economy to the mistreatment they endure from companies, police, the government and local churches (Go figure!). So many Americans are wound up, ready to blow, angry and have a big chip on their shoulder, having very thin skin. It doesn't take much to bring out their true ugliness. Too many people have zero understanding or patience, itching to call security or police on anybody who dares to offend them. I am at the place where I am reluctant to go outside of my home anymore, because of the insanity of Americans today. Road rage can happen at any moment. The police are bullies and corrupt. You simply do not know what type of cop you might meet, a nice one or a thug. I am not saying that I am afraid to leave my home, I'm simply saying that I really don't want to be around Americans anymore, because of how rotten we've all become. We are the most spoiled rotten people in the world in the United States!!! Have you thanked God today for the blessings in your life? I have. There are 86,400 seconds in a day, make sure that you thank your Creator with at least a few of those seconds.
I'll be so glad when this miserable life is over. I hate being vulnerable. I hate being subject to becoming victim at any moment in this world. I don't want to lose my legs in a car accident, or go blind because someone else does something stupid and I get hurt. Two men were walking in a mechanic's shop. Across the building another mechanic was using a hydraulic press to remove a bearing from a shaft. He put the press adapter on the outer race instead of the inner race of the ball-bearing. When he applied 7,000 pounds of force on the outer race, it broke apart and ball-bearings shot out like bullets. One tore into the eye of one of the men walking across the other wide of the building. That unfortunately man is blind today in one eye. I hate being vulnerable to accidents. I could go on for hours, and so could you, about all the crazy things that can happen, to hurt or maim or kill someone. In Heaven we won't be susceptible like that anymore.
As I type, my propane tank is chained with a thick 3/8" chain to a big pole in my backyard, because some punk(s) stole my other one last year, which cost me $75. I hate thieves!!! They came back a month later and stole my King James Bible and radios from my car. I called the police, but they couldn't have cared less. They filed a police report and said a detective would call me to follow up. Nobody ever called. So, I called them, three times, but no one ever called back to follow up. Our sheriff's department here in Pensacola sucks! They just don't care.
Sadly, nobody seems to care anymore. The police don't care. Pastors and clergy don't care. Churches don't care. The biggest problem in the medical profession today is a woeful lack of compassion for patients. Likewise, the biggest problem in churches and Bible colleges today is a woeful lack of compassion for people. Dear reader, everybody and their dog today is walking around with a cellphone in their hand, just waiting to call the cops on you if you give them a reason. I honestly don't want to be around people anymore, because of the way Americans have become big babies. All over Pensacola, as I drive down the streets and highways, I see several dozen billboards by greedy ambulance-chasing lawyers, begging people to sue their neighbours. That is evidence of a decadent wicked culture of selfishness and greed, encouraging people to sue anybody they can for money (mostly for the attorneys).
The Bible prophecies in the book of Daniel that “by peace” the coming man of Sin (Antichrist, meaning “in place of” Christ) shall destroy many. I humbly think this refers to what we call “Democracy” today in America. Democracy is mob rule! Democracy is NOT freedom!!! When the majority get their way, but individual rights do not matter, that is not freedom. What we have in the United States today is not freedom.
Liberty is a gift from God. How we choose to use that liberty will determine whether we remain free or become enslaved. Sadly, we are slowly enslaving ourselves because of sin. I read this article today about the Medicare Advantage scam in the United States. Like me, you've probably been bombarded with hundreds of Tv commercials, whether it be on YouTube or Tv, with Medicare Advantage ads. What is that about? I'll tell you. Those ads are paid for and promoted by greedy private insurance companies who have nothing to do with Medicare. If you switch to one of their so-called “advantage plans,” they'll get a set amount of money each month from the U.S. federal government, whether they pay for your medical bills and drugs or not. Sadly, statistics show that these rotten private insurance companies very often reject claims and refuse to pay your medical bills. In other words, they screw you! I have the original Medicare, parts A and B, and that is all I want. Please don't get scammed dear friend, because I love you with Christ's love and want what's best for you, truly.
You would think in a so-called “free” country like the United States that things would be so much better than it is. I'm sure you've seen the epidemic of panhandlers and homeless people everywhere today. How is it that our government can give Ukraine $190,000,000,000 for war since 2020, but then the government doesn't have any money to construct affordable housing and jobs for the homeless? I really like the idea of Tiny House Villages, which could solve the homeless crisis in the United States. Something desperately needs to be done to help the poor and misfortunate. Greed is ruining our society.
I watched a interesting YouTube documentary the other day about highspeed trains in China. They've constructed 26,000 miles of highspeed train track rails in China. Those trains travel at 200 mph. Wow! Sadly, in the United States we have no highspeed trains. Our fastest train in the U.S. only travels at 65 mph. The reason why we don't have highspeed trains is because of greed. The documentary said that it costs 10 times more in the U.S. than it does in China to build the system. Something is very wrong with our American culture, when it costs $4,000 for a root canal on your tooth.
I suffered back in July of this year from severe pain under my left shoulder blade, and on my right flank under my ribs. The earliest doctor's appointment I could schedule was a couple months out, so I had no choice but to go to the local Emergency Room (ER) at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. The ER doctor ordered blood tests and a CT scan with dye. She said the CT scan didn't show any problems with my kidney on the right side, or any other issues. She thought the shoulder pain was muscle related. After spending four hours in the ER and being given a shot of morphine, I was sent home. I received a billing statement weeks later from Medicare. I was shocked when I saw what just 4 hours in the ER cost (at the only so-called non-profit hospital in Pensacola)... $16,758!!! Just the CT scam (I mean scan) cost $12,000. Yikes! What is wrong with this country? That is pure greed. Thankfully Medicare paid the whole bill and it didn't cost me a penny. Praise God!

American society has become so bad these days, that you cannot even go to a public event without feeling like you're in fascist Nazi-Germany. You can see the paranoia on the cop's faces, like everyone is a suspect. I doubt if I'll go to the fair next year, because it is getting creepy. Dr. Jack Hyles is so right, who said to us preacher boys at Hyles-Anderson College 35 years ago: “Fellas, it's a jungle out there!” It sure is. It sure is!
From time to time I like to go visit the First Baptist Church of Pensacola. Unfortunately, they preach the Devil's damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation, and they use the Devil's modern corrupt Bible revisions. I go because I made some friends there when I first moved to Pensacola back in 2021, and I like to go visit them. Anyway, it is creepy at their church, because they have not one, but two, patrol vehicles parked outside at all times during church services. When people exit the church auditorium after the service, cops are standing in the hallways monitoring everything. Yes folks, things have gotten so bad in our culture today, that churches have to have police officers standing in the hallways to keep the peace, lest church members commit crime. You couldn't make this stuff up!
