There Shall Be False Prophets Among You

Acts 20:29-31, “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.”

2nd Peter 2:1, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.”

The inspired Holy Scripture prophecies that FALSE PROPHETS would arise and deceive many. I love that word “privily” in 2nd Peter 2:1, which means “surreptitiously” (taking painstaking efforts to avoid detection). False prophets are very subtle, like the Devil. They have an agenda! We must continually be on guard against heresy creeping into a church.

The Apostle Paul had spent three years warning God's flock about false prophets lurking from without and within the churches. There's nothing new under the sun. In 2026, we find the same dire situation today of false prophets (grievous wolves) lurking in local churches. I spend a great deal of time extricating people's minds from the toxic theology of neo-evangelicals. The average pastor today is an incompetent theological fool, preaching Satan's fraud of “repent of your sins” to be saved, and other deadly forms of Lordship Salvation. Listen to me friend, there is no YOU in God's plan of salvation, there is only CHRIST. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty.

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

Salvation is not achieving, it is receiving.

The Scripture prophecies that FALSE PROPHETS would arise and deceive many. ...

Matthew 7:15, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

Matthew 24:11, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.”

Evangelist Ray Comfort Corrupts Matthew 7:22-23

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” —Matthew 7:22-23

On page 1197 of 'THE EVIDENCE BIBLE,' Ray Comfort comments on Matthew 7:22-23...

"These are perhaps the most frightening verses in the Bible. Vast multitudes of professing Christians fit into the category spoken of here. They call Jesus 'Lord,' but they practice lawlessness. They profess faith in Jesus, but have no regard for the divine law. They tell 'fibs' or 'white' lies, take things that belong to others, have a roaming eye for the opposite sex, etc. They are liars, thieves, and adulterers at heart, who will be cast from the gates of heaven into the jaws of hell."

Ladies and gentleman, Ray Comfort is teaching a works-based salvation! According to what we just read by Ray, every believer who is still living in deliberate sin won't be allowed into Heaven. The inspired Word of God does NOT agree with Ray. Romans 6:1, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?” I love this precious truth! The more we sin as believers, the deeper God's grace reaches, so that we can never lose God's free gift of salvation; which is obtained simply through trust in Jesus Christ (John 20:31).

The correct interpretation of Matthew 7:22-23 must include verse 21...

“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”

What is "the will of the Father"? The answer is found in John 6:40...

“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

The group in Matthew 7:21-23 were unsaved because they refused to do God's will concerning salvation. It wasn't because they still had personal sins in their life. Every believer still has sin in their life! We all sin every day. That's not to say that we have God's approval to sin, God forbid (Romans 3:31). It just means that even the best of Christian is still a dirty sinner. Ray Comfort wrests the Scripture to his own destruction (2nd Peter 3:16-17).

Such apostates are willing to follow a false gospel or a Caspar Milquetoast preacher like Joel Osteen. However, it is not someone's unwillingness to forsake personal sins that prevents that individual from being saved; but rather, it is one's love for sin. John 3:20, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” Carefully notice verse 21, “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” The Bible doesn't say “he that turns from his sins,” no, it reads: “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light...”

Bible repentance unto life is a matter of changing your mind from unbelief to belief; it is acknowledging THE TRUTH that you are a guilty SINNER and Jesus is the only SAVIOR. Getting saved DOESN'T require sorrow over sins, a desire to do better in the future, to forsake the world, become a Christ follower nor reform one's life of past sinful ways. You may do all these things and yet never be born again and still go to Hell, as did Judas Iscariot who repented of his sins (Matthew 27:3). 'YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN' (John 3:1-7).

In John 5:40 Jesus said, “And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” Jesus didn't say, "Ye cannot come." He said, “Ye WILL NOT come.” The Lord will save any needy sinner immediately, irrevocably and eternally who RESTS in the Gospel (Hebrews 4:10-11).

Ray Comfort woefully perverts Matthew 7:22-23, by errantly claiming that “false prophets” are those who claim to be saved, but have not forsaken their petty sins yet. Clearly, Mr. Comfort is teaching a works-based plan of salvation (damnation). The truth is that every child of God still sins continually one way or another. We are sinning even when we fail to pray for others (1st Samuel 12:23). We are all still wretched sinners as God's redeemed saints (Romans 7:24).

Satan is a master liar and deceiver and his unrighteous (unsaved) ministers are turned into ministers of righteousness to deceive the simple (2nd Corinthians 11:13-14). There are many groups who falsely profess to be “Christian” nowadays. They are not born again Christians. It's not because they still have sin in their lives, it is because they're trusting their own self-righteousness to merit them eternal life. What groups am I writing about? Namely: Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, Christian Scientists, Scientologists, Reformed (Calvinist) Baptists, Lutherans, Lordship Salvationists and innumerable others.

Every proponent of Lordship Salvation claims that eternal is a free gift, provided by God's free grace, and that works are not essential to salvation; yet, they 100% contradict themselves when they mandate a changed life as part of saving faith. Forsaking one's sins is the FRUIT of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:25), and is not a prerequisite to be saved. Behavior modification has absolutely NOTHING to do with receiving God's free gift. So many people get confused and stray away from the truth of the Gospel of free grace, simply because they allow their sinful nature to corrupt the free grace of God, as did Cain in the Old Testament.

Jesus clearly taught that the reason why the group in Matthew 7:21-23 wasn't saved is because they had failed to do GOD'S WILL. John 6:40 tells us that God's will is for us to BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST. Ray Comfort would have us to believe that forsaking one's sins is God's will for salvation, but that is NOT what the Bible says at all.

The Federal Reserve banking system is nothing more than systematic financial fraud, since 1913. It's a massive classic Ponzi Scheme sanctioned by Congress. They should all be fired, arrested, indicted, tried in a legitimate court of law, convicted for treason and then sentenced! Away with the traitors!

It bothered me today as I listened to the media whores at Fox News spew nothing but sympathy and outrage for what Iran's authoritarian leaders are doing to murder it's citizens, while neer a word was heard from Fox News during the massacre of 71,647 innocent people in Gaza (most of whom were defenseless women and children). Sadly, the manmade whore of Israel controls our U.S. news media, so that we simply cannot believe anything the press tells us anymore.

Present-day Israel is of the Devil. It is a manmade farce since 1948 that is NOT the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980) and Pastor J. Vernon McGee (1904-1988) both rejected the idea of present-day Israel being the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Beware of the pro-Israel media whores in the United States! I am not anti-Semite, God forbid; I am anti-corruption and anti-evil. True Israel has not existed since 586 BC when Babylon conquered Jerusalem, and will not exist again until the great Second Coming of the majestic Lord Jesus Christ (Hosea 3:4-5). Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

That being said, the fact that President Trump and the U.S. mainstream news media unanimously seem to care about liberating Iran, expressing outrage over the thousands of alleged killings in Iranian streets, while not caring one iota when 71,647 Palestinians were being murdered in Gaza, compels me to conclude that there is a sinister hidden agenda.

I am not against nor for Israel today. The nation of Israel in these modern times is no different than any other heathen nation. Israel today has no special divine promise of protection from God; quite the contrary (Luke 21:24). I can tell you biblically that Christ-rejecting Jews are NOT God's chosen people today, and unsaved Jews never were (Romans 2:28-29). ONLY born again Christians (Jews and Gentiles alike) are THE CHOSEN; or THE CHURCH if you prefer.

From the very beginning of the Abrahamic covenant, God's promises were conditional to the Jews (Exodus 19:5-6; Deuteronomy 28). The Jews rebelled so that God gave Israel into the hands of their enemies for judgment time and time again. The inspired Holy Bible is abundantly clear that God made His promises to Abraham concerning Jesus Christ, and not to Abraham's biological descendants (the Jews). Galatians 3:16, “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.” Thus, all of the promises which God made to Abraham only apply to those who have faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:28-29).

Christ-rejecting arrogant Jews today have no stake in anything except their well-deserved plot in the tormentuous everlasting fires of Hell (John 3:36; Revelation 20:15). God's inspired Word will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7).

Dear reader, if you want to understand the daily news, then always remember that Satan is the god of this world (2nd Corinthians 4:4), and that the New World Order (NWO) is now being formed before our very eyes (Revelation 17:10). We are now living in the end times of the feet of iron (tyranny) mixed with clay (freedom) in Nebuchadnezzar's golden image from Daniel chapter two.

Two Different Legs Both Walking In The Same Direction Of A New World Order

We see horrible tyranny in harsh places like North Korea and Russia today, versus the freedoms that we enjoy in America and Europe. Whereas in the past the entire world was ruled by the kingdoms of Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Greece, Medo-Persia and Rome (world powers). No one nation has ruled the whole world since Rome. Next is the New World Order, which will be the Beast system of the coming Antichrist (aka, the Man of Sin). So, we have nine super powers today (India, United States, United Kingdom, France, Israel, North Korea, Russia, Pakistan, China), but no world powers anymore. All of the aforementioned countries posses nuclear weapons.

I wrote this blog to point out the bothersome hypocrisy that I see in the Zionist-controlled White House and American media. Although Hamas has an approximate membership of 20,000 Arabs, the vast majority of the murdered 71,647 victims in Palestine between 2022 and 2026 never hurt anybody. They were just parents trying to raise their children in a peaceful society. With Israel continually hating, murdering and oppressing the Palestinians, I cannot blame the refugees for being angry at Israel.

Jesus reiterated The Golden Rule in Matthew 7:12, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” The Apostle Paul even went as far as to conclude that loving others as yourself fulfills all of God's law. Galatians 5:14, “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” That is so precious and beautiful.

If for some reason we were to be abandoned and isolated with a group of people on an island, and there were no Bibles for anyone to read, by just loving each other we wouldn't need a Bible (as far as knowing how to live right). I didn't say that, God did in His inspired Word. Galatians 5:14, “For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

James 2:8-9, “If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.”

It is a wicked shame that our nation's top leaders play favorites, liberating one group of people from tyrants while condemning another group to be obliterated with guns and bombs by the tyrants in Israel. I lost confidence in the White House and mainstream media a long time ago.

The Day Of Reckoning Will Come For Corrupt Pastors

Galatians 6:3-7, “For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden. Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Jeremiah 5:31, “The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?”

One of the heaviest burdens that I carry as a fundamentalist Baptist Bible preacher is over America's corrupt Baptist pastors. I've never seen so many bad pastors who don't care about right doctrine, the purity of God's Word, the accuracy of the Gospel or how they treat people.

Case in point are the horrible pastors at Pensacola Christian College's Campus Church, who are wrong on repentance; and therefore, God's simple plan of salvation. I have found at least FOUR different plans of salvation at PCC. I speak this to their utter shame and incompetence!

1st Peter 4:1-5, “Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.”
